Authority was founded in 2005 by David Collyer.

Our first clients were Kula Shaker who are still with us today. Our roster now also includes Scissor Sisters, Kate Nash, Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong, Hard-Fi, Paolo Nutini and many more.

David was a music journalist for almost ten years. Most of this time was spent as a web editor at Capital Radio and London Indie Station Xfm, pioneering several then-groundbreaking developments such as offering music for download over the web and e-mailing people in large numbers.
